The dedication and meticulousness of skilled craftsmen and their secret of silkworm care, silk nursery, and silk weaving are passed down through generations in combination with modern technology. DeSilk's message is to let the world know that Vietnamese silk is not only good but also very beautiful because of its special designs, showing Vietnamese culture, landscape, and history.
Mulberry cultivation, silkworm rearing, silk nursery, and silk weaving have been a part of Vietnamese culture for centuries with the ancestor recognized as Princess Thieu Hoa, daughter of the 6th Hung King. In the past, Vietnamese silk products were known as rare items and usually used as tributes to the imperial court as well as to trade with foreign countries with high economic value. Nowadays, there are still many famous traditional silk villages with craftsmen who continue to maintain the profession of their ancestors.
DeSilk wants to promote the Vietnamese silk culture and bring a breath of fresh air by blending craftsmanship with modern technology. In every product, there is a blend of traditional weaving and digital printing to create masterpieces that highlight the soul of the weaver, the nuances and colors that only digital printing technology can produce.

DeSilk's highlights are beautiful designs, inspired by nature, culture, craftsmanship of east, which decoded and recreated with a modern, sophisticated western style.
The man who breathes life into the designs is Art Director Minh Pham. He is a Vietnamese-Swiss who studied design in Paris (France) and has collaborated with many major fashion brands in the world. Like many Vietnamese expatriates, he wanted to return and dedicate himself to his homeland. The chance to meet and empathize with founder Van Hang's love of silk and business philosophy, he agreed to take on the position of DeSilk's Art Director.
DeSilk products are incredibly enchanting. Some people are fascinated by the image of the bright Lotus, some people are impressed with the sophisticated Eggshell Lacquer, some people are interested in the luxurious Gold Gilding, others are passionate about the Keo Pagoda bearing a spiritual imprint... They find attractive in silk products that they choiced and take pride in wearing them.
